Treasure Hunt for a Cause at Max & Merlin’s House!
Come treasure-hunting for a good cause! We’ve cleared out a fun mix of home goods, electronics, toys for kids and pets, useful odds and ends, and other surprises, all offered through a “take what you’ll use, give what you can” honor system. We’ll also have free snacks to enjoy while you browse.
Here’s how it works:
– Find a treasure: Help yourself to anything that you or someone you know will genuinely use.
– Donate directly: Instead of paying us, scan one of the QR codes at our Donation Station to make a pay-what-you-can donation directly to one of our featured charities. Please note that we cannot accept cash or other payments ourselves.
– Add to the match: After donating, anonymously record the charity and donation amount on our honor-system tally sheet. No receipt or proof is needed. At the end of the sale, we’ll match the community’s total donations dollar-for-dollar, up to $5,000!
Can’t donate today? Please still take what you can use. We would much rather see these things find a good home than go to waste. There is no required payment, no pressure, and no minimum donation.
