Let’s welcome Lawrence and Emily for their very first Hillwide! They’ll be throwing open their doors at 4 Gladys St. on August 13th and are looking forward to meeting everyone who stops by. They are definitely not new to Garage Sales, so read on for some great tips!
What made you decide to join us this year?
We are looking forward to a day of meeting neighbors. We have lots of vintage treasures for folks – French stemware, 1960s costume jewelry, handblown glass, and things that are cute and useful. We’ve cherished these items, but want to find new homes for them and hope our neighbors enjoy stopping by.
What’s your top tip for other garage owners who are registered for Hillwide this year?
We have shopped garage sales for a long time and had a few sales. Have fun with the day. Make sure you are putting out items that are in good condition and will be useful to folks.
Finally, aside of visiting YOUR garage, what’s your TOP TIP for Treasure Seekers coming to this year’s Hillwide?
Bring some packable bags for all the treasures you find. Have some packing materials (bubblewrap, etc) on hand in case you find something fragile.
